Eat Cake is
another of Jonathan Mitchell’s plays and quite different from Moon Graffiti. It reminded me more of Tape Delay, another project from The Truth, in that it dealt with
relationships, telephones, conversation, and people thinking other people were
weird. It was more upbeat than Moon Graffiti, and short enough that its
quirkiness was tolerable. It was also
improvised and felt nonetheless quite smooth and fluent to me.
